No. Airbrush is included in every booking. It is a tool we choose for your face, not an upgrade you buy, in the same way we would never add a line to a producer's invoice for reaching for an airbrush gun on a commercial set.

Neither is better on its own. Airbrush gives a smooth, even base and blends beautifully on camera; traditional product gives more control for detail and texture. Most faces get a mix, and the choice is made for your skin, your outfit and the light you will be in. If airbrush specifically matters to you, tell us and it will be part of your look.

No. Makeup sold as waterproof airbrush is alcohol-based. It sets hard, cracks wherever the face creases when you smile or talk, and cannot be touched up once it does. It belongs on tattoo cover-ups, effects work and underwater shoots, not on a face for a whole wedding day. For all-day wear we reach for water-based first, and silicone only where it suits the skin.

Yes, and it starts before the airbrush comes out. Longevity is built in skin prep, which controls shine and sweat from the beginning, rather than repaired later with powder and setting spray. In Florida heat and humidity we reach for a water-based formula: it breathes and stays comfortable, where silicone can slide and feel like makeup over too much sunscreen. For cold, dry Chicago conditions the choice is made for the opposite problem.

Yes, when the formula and placement are chosen for the skin rather than applied from a menu. Mature, textured or dry skin usually looks best with a hybrid of airbrush and hand application, because silicone alone can sit heavily on texture; deep skin tones need a properly matched foundation, not a lightened one. Our before and after photographs include both.

Water-based airbrush is our first choice for sensitive skin: it is made of water, it breathes, and it sits lightly. Every formula is chosen for the person in the chair, so tell us about any reactions or allergies beforehand and we will choose around them.

Yes. Tattoo cover-up is exactly where an alcohol-based formula belongs, because it sets hard and resists transfer. We use it on the tattoo only, and a skin-friendly formula on the face.

Yes. On camera, airbrush evens redness and controls shine without looking like makeup, which is why it is standard on productions. For grooming it is usually spot placement only, and nobody can tell.
