Since 2006 · Tampa Bay · Chicago · Los Angeles · 22+ Markets
Twenty years of work with a paper trail.
On-location hair and makeup for weddings, commercial and corporate productions,
editorial, broadcast, brand activations, and events — with before and after
transformations that show exactly what we deliver. Whether it is a bride’s first
look, a keynote on national television, or a brand activation serving hundreds of guests,
we have done it across Tampa Bay, Chicago, Los Angeles, and 22+ markets.

Disciplines
What we get booked for.
Six ways we help you look your best — each with its own pace and standard, so you
always get a team that fits the job, not a one-size-fits-all artist.
Commercial & Advertising
Broadcast spots, digital campaigns, and branded content. A key artist owns the look and holds it across setups; additional artists keep the day on schedule. Continuity is the deliverable — face nine has to match face one, and hour eleven has to match hour one.

Multi-day continuity
Grooming and beauty
Coverage through wrap
Corporate & Executive
Headshot days, executive portraits, keynote and panel prep, earnings and press readiness. The person in the chair is not a model and does not want to look made up. The work has to read as a good day, not as makeup.
Portrait days at volume
Speaker and keynote prep
Interview and press readiness
On-site studio setup
Editorial
Fashion and beauty editorial, lookbooks, magazine features. Concept-led work where the brief is a reference deck rather than a spec, and the artist is expected to contribute to the look rather than execute someone else's.

Beauty and fashion editorial
Lookbook and campaign stills
Print and digital
Broadcast
On-air talent, anchor and contributor touch-ups, livestream, press conference and green room. Lighting is unforgiving and there is no second take, so the standard is different from print and the pace is different from set.

Green room and press conference
Livestream and studio
Rapid turnaround between segments
Experiential & Brand Activation
Glam bars, pop-ups, product launches, convention booths, influencer events. Activation beauty is a throughput problem as much as a beauty problem — a queue of guests, a public branded environment, and a clock.

Weddings & Private Events
The market we started in and still run at production standard. Sized to headcount, timed backward from first look, and staffed so the last person out of the chair is not the one holding up photographs.

The Portfolio
Forty-nine frames, nine kinds of day.
Filter by the kind of work you are actually booking — including before and after
hair and makeup transformations. A bride and a festival activation are both hair and makeup
and they have almost nothing else in common, so it is worth seeing the right ones.

Questions People Ask
The answers that get you booked.
Do you share before and after hair and makeup photos?
Yes. Our Before and After portfolio shows real client transformations done on location — weddings, productions, editorial shoots, and corporate events. Every result was achieved on a real timeline with a real client, not a studio test shoot. Filter the portfolio above to see them all.
Where does City Lights Beauty Agency work?
Our home markets are Tampa Bay (Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota) and Chicago, with Los Angeles as our newest and expanding market. We staff productions, weddings, and brand activations in 22+ markets nationwide, sourcing and vetting local artists wherever the shoot is — one point of contact, one accountable team.
What brands and networks have you worked with?
Named clients include CBS, Nickelodeon, WGN, Windy City Live, Judy Justice, Women's Health, American Girl, Radio Flyer, Budweiser, Lollapalooza, AmeriLife, Vera Wang, Disney, Sephora, ESPN, CoverGirl, NASCAR, Netflix, Amazon, NBC, Nike, L'Oréal, Walmart, and LinkedIn. Additional Fortune 500 and agency work is covered by confidentiality and can be discussed directly with your team.
What kinds of hair and makeup work do you do?
We staff six disciplines: commercial and advertising, corporate and executive, editorial, broadcast, experiential and brand activation, and weddings and private events. Each has its own standard, pace, and staffing model — an artist who is excellent on a magazine set is not automatically the right call for a four-hundred-guest activation.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. City Lights Beauty Agency holds Florida Talent Agency License TA1765, carries general liability coverage, and provides certificates of insurance, W-9s, and vendor onboarding paperwork as a matter of course.
How do I book hair and makeup for a production or event?
Tell us the date, location, call time, talent count, and what the footage or event is for. You will have real staffing and a real number within one business day. A fifty-percent retainer holds your date; the balance is due thirty days before. Call (888) 619-0628 for short notice.
Do you do wedding hair and makeup in Tampa Bay and Chicago?
Yes. Weddings are the market we started in and we still run them at full production standard. We size the team to headcount, build the timeline backward from first look, and staff so the last person out of the chair is not the one holding up photographs. We serve Tampa Bay, Chicago, Los Angeles, and destination locations nationwide.
Can you staff large brand activations and glam bars?
Yes. We have staffed branded glam bars, festival lounges, product launches, and large-scale activations including Lollapalooza for Budweiser — 200+ VIP guests, 15 artists on site, 50+ guests per hour. We are the subcontract partner experiential agencies actually call back.
How It Works
What working with us looks like.
1Tell us about your day. The date, location, call time, how many people, and what it is for. That is all we need to give you a real number within one business day.
2We build the right team. We staff to your schedule — one artist per three to four people for first looks is the working rule — and we will tell you exactly what your day needs.
3One point of contact, start to finish. Your key artist owns the look and keeps it consistent all day, so you are never coordinating a handful of strangers.
4Clear terms, no surprises. Contract first, itemised invoice after. Overtime, travel, and kit fees are spelled out up front — never discovered on the bill.
