Our clients book us for events, productions, corporate work, brand activations and weddings. When one needs someone with your skills in your area, we send you the opportunity.
How It Works

- Your business stays yoursYour name, your brand, your clients and your prices. Nothing about your business changes.
- You choose what you takeEvery booking is an offer. Accept the ones that fit and pass on the ones that don’t. You are never exclusive to us.
- Terms before you say yesEvery job is different. You get the full terms, including the pay, before you accept.
- We handle the clientWe find the client, quote, book and manage them. You show up and do the work.
- Paid every FridayBy ACH, every Friday or sooner. We invoice the client, so you never chase anyone for payment.
- All-inclusive, no upsellingOur clients get one all-inclusive experience, with no tiers and no add-ons. Lashes and airbrush are simply part of the service, so you never have to upsell anyone.

Am I joining a beauty team or a bridal team?
No. City Lights is a licensed Florida talent agency (TA1765), not a beauty team, a bridal team or a salon. You keep your own business. When one of our clients needs your skills in your area, we send you the opportunity, and you decide whether to take it.
Will this take clients or income away from my business?
No. We never ask you to hand over your clients, change your prices, stop promoting yourself or work only for us. The bookings we send are extra work on top of your own. It is a win for both of us.
Is this a job? Am I exclusive to you?
No to both. You are an independent contractor, booked job by job. There is no W-2, you are never exclusive to us, and you keep your own clients.
How much do you pay?
Every job is different. You receive the full terms, including the pay, before you accept any job.
When do I get paid?
Every Friday or sooner, by ACH. We invoice the client, so you never have to chase anyone for payment.
Do I need my own kit?
Yes, your own professional kit.
Do I have to do weddings?
No. Tell us the kind of work you want, and that is the kind of work we send you.
I am not in Tampa or Chicago. Should I still submit?
Yes. Tampa Bay and Chicago are our home markets, but we are expanding and book artists wherever our clients need them. Tell us where you work and we contact you when something comes up there.
What happens after I submit?
We review every submission. If it is a fit, we reach out. After that, we send you opportunities as they come up in your area.
