How do I book Paula (owner)?

Paula is based in Tampa, FL & frequently travels with and to clients internationally.

Paula accepts a maximum of 4 physical bookings each month.

Paula accepts virtual 1:1 and group makeup lessons based on availability.

How do I know if my date is available?

We have an active network of very talented professional artists, stylists and creatives in most major cities.

Some even refer to us as "the plug" because if we don't actively have an artist/stylist where you need on our roster, we can most likely scout one for you, using our 2 decades of experiece and contacts.

Can I book a last minute appointment?

Absolutely! If we are available, we are happy to work with you! Some of life's most beautiful relationships happen on a whim. We are here for you for all your last minute "treat yourself" sessions!

How do I provide hotel room numbers and location details?

Hotel:

Upon check in to your hotel, please email us @ [email protected] + text our business line @ 813.945.6386 with your hotel room information (and specific tower/elevator if applicable). If we have any questions, we will contact you via phone or email

Prior to your scheduled appointment, please have your cell phone close to you. We will provide your cell phone number to your artist (s) that will be arriving for your appointment. Sometimes the artist (s) may need to contact you prior to your appointment, to meet them downstairs or at the selected elevator (if they are having trouble accessing your hotel room).

Private Estate:

Please email us at [email protected] if there is a gate code needed or you need to provide specific instructions with accessing your location/address ie: Driver's License for front gate attendant. Prior to your scheduled appointment, please have your cell phone close to you. We will provide your cell phone number to your artist (s) that will be arriving for your appointment. Sometimes the artist (s) may need to contact you prior to your appointment if they are having trouble accessing your location/address.

Do you offer makeup classes?

Yes! Private 1:1, small and large groups!

What safety measures do you implement regarding sanitation and COVID-19?

Your safety is our priority. We adhere to strict sanitization protocols and follow all local health guidelines to ensure our clients’ well-being.

What kind of makeup do you use?

Every artist is unique and given complete creative freedom using various brands and product lines.

Do you offer airbrush makeup?

Yes! However, not all professionals prefer to use airbrush. If you have a preference please specify with your team during your booking process.

All of our artists retain the right to practice creative freedom in chosen tools and products.

Do you travel on location?

Yes. We specialize in production quality, on site makeup artistry and hair styling for photography, video, bridal and special events.

Are there travel fees?

Yes. Mileage $1.34/mile. On location setup fee $100 to cover the cost of providing a full production quality setup including all the required tools for all skin tones, types + hair styling and lighting equipment.

Are lashes included?

Yes! Lashes are always included as a City Lights Beauty Agency standard. Lashes will always be customized to each client's desired look.

Where are you located?

Home office is located in sunny Tampa, FL but we have artists in Chicago, Dallas, NYC and LA to name a few! Take a moment to fill out our contact form so we can check your area!

Do you travel?

Yes, we travel to and with clients internationally.

How long will my service take?

Service time can vary based on the type of look. Typical service prep time minimum estimates are as follows:

Makeup: 45 minutes

Hair Styling: 45 minutes

On location set up and break down: 30 minutes

Additional time required for hair extensions, costume services, bridal services.

We may also need additional time for unforseen circumstances ie: client's with reactive/watery eyes, those who didn't follow skin/hair prep instructions.

Do I need to bring anything to my session?

No, however you are welcome to bring any must haves. Favorite lipstick? Mascara? You're welcome to bring any preferred products that you know and love.

Do you offer touch up services?

Yes, for an hourly, half or full day rate.

Do you accept gratuity/tips?

Yes, you may tip your artist/stylist directly.

18% minimum gratuity is required for bridal + event bookings.

Do you offer "eye makeup only"?

No. Partial services are not up to City Lights Beauty Agency standards.
